  • Someones damaged my baby!

Absolutely fuming! Came back to the car in sainsburys and found this, i think someones hit me with a trolley and not even had the decency to leave a note!

Ive managed to clean it up and compound it for now, god knows how much it will cost to fix though

    I can feel your pain.
If I would find my little one in this condition I would go ballistic.

I cant imagine how you must of felt when coming back to the car to see that. I would be devastated.

Hopefully your local body shop can remove it without costing a small fortune. God damn people!

Utter utter sh*theads for doing that!! People with no decency and regard for others pride and joy. Makes me sooo mad  :mad:Karma is a b*tch and it will get them back in the end. Hope it's not too costly to fix.

            No CCTV?

That's a pretty big mess for a trolley to do accidentally!

Well here's the thing, i only noticed it in Sainsburys as its the first time id been round that side of the car in a week!

I get the train to work so dont use it in the week, its parked on a one way street and the drivers side is the only one i see.

Hopped in this morning, went Aldi, then Sainsburys, then i found it so it could have happened anywhere.

The street i live on is notorious for people blocking cars in, do you think that could be a white car scraping along my paintwork?

Only at a guess, just trying to imagine how much of a k*ob somebody would have to be with a trolley to do that. A dink as it rolls off maybe.

Might just be the photo, looks like some transfer on the tyre?

Excess on the insurance make it not worth claiming?

It does look that way from the top pic. Now I look at it properly, it's not a shopping trolley scrape, it does look like a white car has kerranged you there.

Now you say it i think you're right guys, otherwise where did the white stuff come from!

People always parks next to you on my street even though its inconsiderate and o think someone has probably gotten too close.

My excess is £250 so i'll have to see what i get quoted. I really dont want to claim if i can help it though as it will only put my renewal up

Good luck with it all. Is it badly dented? If not too bad, I know a really good mobile body repair company. Depends on where you live though, unsure if they are regional or national.

There's a very small dent which should come out easy enough, the main issue is the paintwork so im hoping my local bodyshop can do it for a few hundred quid

Give these guys a shout. I don't know if they will be able to sort it, or if they are in your area. Worth a punt. My local guy lives on the next street and his work is really good.

People are idiots. I was working in a student accoms area yesterday (terraced houses on narrow streets). There were cars parked both sides and as I was going through a long stretch someone came in at the top. They realised I was already mostly through so decided to reverse. The woman had four goes and hit the same parked car twice (mirror to mirror). She had driven off by the time I got through. Luckily there appeared to be no damage to the parked car. People just don't give a damn!
