DAB radio cutting in and out

Just wondered if anyone else has had this issue. Got a 66 plate DS3 with the touchscreen. The DAB radio has been fine for 6 months, but has suddenly started cutting in and out. I'm in the areas I've always driven in and it's suddenly unusable, cuts out for many seconds, back for a few etc. I'm due a service in a few weeks, and suspect it will need a dreaded software update but has anyone else encountered this?
