Coolant top-up

My VTi, after 45,000 miles, uses very little oil, something like a litre every 8,000 miles, down from a litre every 3,000 miles when it was new.

I've topped the coolant up once, less than 10mm in the header tank.

No, not yet.
TBH I've got too much on at the moment to spare the time to take it in to be looked at. It's been doing the excessive top up thing for a few months now, and there's no sign of it getting any worse.

I hope that isn't tempting fate and it now doesn't fail catestrophically on the way home from work this evening!
