Timing Chain Tensioner.

Hi Guys, new to the club so hello to everybody.

Having an issue with Timing chain/tensioner been in for warranty and just awaiting a response from Citroen to hear if they will replace or not.

Got the 1.6 155 THP engine with around 33k on the clock.

Anyone else had this problem?

Yep, LOTS of people, more often with the THP150 than the 155, but yes - they can stretch and throw the timing out.

Oh, glad but not glad to hear it's a common problem. Fingers crossed it will get repaired under warranty but who knows ��

- they should replace both the tensioner and the chain. if they just replace just one or the other, then ask a few questions!
