  • Remap

    Hi all,

I've been trying to contact etuners for a remap of my THP. But can't seem to get hold of them. I send them an email and got a standard anwser but thats about it. No other reply since.
Nobody in belgium will do a remap and think i would like a stage 1 or even a stage 2 remap. Want 200hp so thats possibly a stage 1+ remap ?

Also i have a spare ecu laying around that is not maried to the bsi. What i want to do is keep the original map and use the spare ecu for the stage 1 remap. That should work. One thing i do have is that the ecu i'm using now isn't recognized by diagbox and the spare one is. The original one was 'destroyed' by the dealer when they did an upgrade of the software. And have been in touch with citroen france that took over my computer to have a look. They said everything was ok with the ecu even if it can't be recognized by diagbox.
Here is the simple plan i want to do but need help with it.

The reason i have 2 ecu's is the following. When i boughed the car the ecu in it had a broken pin. So they soldered a wire to it and to the car. Didn't like the idea so boughed a second hand ecu with bsi and key. Now i fixed the old ecu (good with electronics) and don't want it to go to waste.

    So my plan is:

Get the software of the spare ecu.
Get the software of the main ecu.
Edit the software of the spare with the keys of the main ecu
Put this modified software on the main ecu. This way it can be recognized by diagbox. This makes the main ecu good again.
Next is to get a remap on the new software of the main ecu and put it on the spare.

This way i'll end up with a good main ecu on original map and a spare ecu on the stage 1 remap.

Any ideas or anyone that could help. Don't mind paying the fee etuners want and don't even need the hardware, better for them. But need to get a hold of them first.
    Thanks!

I can understand your frustration. It's not ideal to have to wait a long time to hear back from a tuner, especially when you're eager to get your car remapped. I've heard similar stories from other people who have tried to contact etuners. Some people have said that they got a standard response, but then never heard back. Others have said that they were able to get a response, but it took a long time. I'm not sure what the reason is for the delay, but it's Lia Help can do your assignments possible that Etuners is simply very busy. They are a popular tuner, and they may have a lot of customers to deal with. If you're still interested in getting your car remapped by Etuners, I would recommend trying to contact them again. You could try calling them or sending them a follow-up email. You could also try contacting them on social media.
