I did a 131 mile round trip today and the onboard puter said my ave mpg was 76.2, i can take a pic if you want, I couldn't believe it, I was in steady traffic there & back ave 50 -60 mph 2 squirts up to 70 to over take trucks, at one point it displayed 78.3, the fuel gauge dropped one bar for whole trip. I am very impressed with the mpg of my dsport 110, I reckon my usual average is 58 mpg thats over 6000 miles in 8 weeks!!

1.6 vti, do a lot of 'whizzing' around. And I never look at when to change gear. I just do it dependig in circumstance, road etc.

MPG was a factor when buying my DS3, and nearly got a diesel. But then gave up. This is for my daily commute, lots of stop starts and overtaking on the short stretch of Bypass I do.

48 miles travelled, 45.5 Ampg average mph of 25 (whoop)

Out of curiosity what do you get?

WTF - 45.5 is really good IMO. I wouldnt get that out of the civic diesel doing stop start driving.

            What did who get sorry?!

I'm sure I'd get more if I wasn't just enjoying driving like a bit of a tool tbh.

Currently getting 60.5mpg in my 90 and that's just my usual work commute with a bit of town driving and b roads where more often than not you don't get over 50-55mph. Very happy with the mpg so far but kinda slightly wishing i'd gone for the petrol as i've always driven petrols lol.

I go with the flow of traffic, don't floor it when I'm driving for work stuff as not worth it but even when sat at 70 -75 I get 60 + mpg, that journey for the 131 miles was just how the traffic was on A roads, the difference between danger of 60 & 90 well it's recognisable and unrecognisable depending on what you hit or hits you

done about 1200 miles so far in my 110 e-HDI, computer reckons it's averaging 48mpg which probably means less, only getting around 350-400 per tank now, costing £53 to brim at £1.409/L.

Greaterix the car will get better mpg after more miles it's still wearing in at that then you'll start to see 50+ when your pushing hard and then 58-60+ when on motorway

I'm getting around 36-39mpg out of my 150 THP - but that's using it as I feel - have 150 horses and as per one of the posts above, I like to change up when most of them are about to join me in the passenger seat! Best mpg is normally journey to the office when I'm forced to stick to sensible speeds, can get into low 40s mpg then. Did once manage 44mpg once on a long trip. However life is way to short to worry, I work my whatsits off, my cars can too!

                                Regards,
                                Clive.
