There is the much awaited replacement to the Black & Whites - again please remember that I have edited the documents to remove dealer sensitive information.
Shame on Citroen I say. They are taking away our individuality. Why did we bother configuring and waiting for colourways when they would be issued as 'standard'?
This is a bit of a 'cop out' compared to the previous Special Editions which looked special - these are just factory spec specials........ 4/10 for effort.
...I should never have doubted the Lord of Bacon!!
They may have a badge but to be honest with GEFCO can barely put on the current crop of badges! We get cars with only one badge on on side of the car and have been told thats normal and thats how Citroen wants it, badges on the wrong models and my favorite - no badges what so ever!
So there may be a "plus" badge added but only on one side as and if you wanted it to match then you will need to pay for it....
It's a pity they haven't gone for something more adventurous than a slightly upspecced DStyle/DSport in pretty bog-standard colour combinations (I'm thinking of those highly distinctive colour combinations on the Japanese configurator), but I guess that misses the point of the exercise, which is presumably to smooth the production process by reducing the number of made-to-order cars by building cars for dealer stock in popular colour combinations, and sugaring the pill of reduced customer choice by upping the spec for (presumably) a small additional cost.
I prefer them to the B&W editions, which are less distinctive in the flesh (although still lovely, of course!) because the mono-colour reduces the impact of the floating roof motif.
