  • Excuse my ignorance - baguettes

For someone whose last attempt at car modification was adding Weber carburettors to a frogeye Sprite, circa1965, can someone explain to me what baguettes are - presumably not French bread superglued to the bonnet or something!

    Are these baguettes?

No need to apologise for not knowing, this site is here to help answer questions.Baguettes are the the chrome side strips that run along the bottom of the doors. Some cars have them as standard and others including me have bought them after and fitted them their selves. If you are interested in buying them get in touch with Jon Nicol on this site and he will do you a good deal.
