Hideous low brick wall next to parking space

I know it's bound to happen. Despite being extra careful a moment's carelessness or a gust of wind and the door is going to get a nice paint chip. Apart from lining the wall with a rubber bumper is there anything that looks half decent that I can put on the door to prevent damage?
