Weird, 09 Pug 207 does it so I assumed the newer DS3 would! Unless they disabled it for some reason

It's only came on once for me.. I had just changed the brake pads and thought I'd test them out so sped up to 50 and pressed on the brakes as hard as I could.. not a good idea looking back on it but they worked!

If you do an emergency stop in a DS3 the EBA kicks in and assists the stop and the hazard lights kick in....they stop automatically when normal driving resumes

Check it out again, it should activate, if not head back to a dealer to get it checked out.
BUT you do have hit the brakes hard for it to kick in, a half hearted stop won't do the trick

What I was trying to say is that you shouldn't have to activate that function, it exists and is a standard feature, and IF its not working there may well be an underling issue.
I'm sure that Biggie can confirm that this is as I believe.

The hazzards should only activate when braking harsh from motorway speeds around 50/60, i drive home from work at 1230am every night.. and manage to activate them on every roundabout on the way home.. fun times

                                Automatic operation of
                                hazard warning lamps

When braking in an emergency, depending on
the deceleration, the hazard warning lamps
                                come on automatically.
They switch off automatically the first time you
                                accelerate.
 You can also switch them off by pressing
                                the button
Found this in the user manual
