Hi, basically the title says it all!
Having worked in a multifranchise dealer including Citroen (im now at Audi) ive driven quite a few of the diesel DS3s and have always liked them
Having always has RenaultSports though, i traded my 172 for a brand new 200 CUP last November. The CUP however, has the hardest suspension i have ever felt, is is designed to be on the track 99.99999999% of the time, and UK roads the rest!
Im starting to fall out of love with my 200, so took a test drive in a 1.6 THP DSport this afternoon and really liked it. Its not as 'raw' as my 200, but im nearly 27 now and i think im past traffic light GPs etc. Plus, the suspension is in another world! No longer can i feel every pebble.
So, im currently trying to get a decent deal on a 1.6 THP, but the figures are coming out just abit too much. Im in two minds whether it'll be worth the extra outlay every month.
Ive a few questions
The DS3 DSport i took on test drive has the 'HIFI' bit on the dash and the sales guy said this is standard, along with bluetooth - is it?
Finally, do they do such as thing as a Bluefin for the DS? My friend has an ST and its perfect because you can map it, then unmap it as you wish. Im aware of remaps etc, but car manufacturers have so many recalls and problems fixed by an ECU download, id be worried that it'd be £X amount of pounds wasted once the ECU is flashed at the dealers? What are people getting power wise with a remap?
Hope ill be on here more often, if im convinced change is the right thing to do!
