Makes the old emission thing a bit of a joke, doesn't it? I'm pretty sure I won't be replacing the Michelins with similar. My style of motoring suits economy tyres and this is what I will be getting - I have an allergy to tyres costing more than £100.

I have heard that even though the e-HDI 90 is supposed to be zero tax, if you have the 17" wheels then it affects the emissions and goes up to £20. Can anyone confirm that?

I wouldnt have thought so. Its based on the "official" emission figures of the vehicle.
