    well for a few minutes anyway.

    You know I moaned about the build quality of my DS3 and all the small problems?

    Well after getting nothing but grief off the fanboys on here telling me I'd bought a lemon I got fed up and pissed off (as in left the site, not angry), who needs agro from idiots when you love your car but certain people dont want to see that the car has flaws?

    Well it now turns out that the loss of turbo pressure and the loss of engine coolant was due to the fact that my "premium" model car had blown the head gasket after 10k miles. Ohhh that's quite good isn't it? I mean thats superb BMW engineering right there.

    So anyway, I read on here that someone else was accused of racing their 150THP as that'd be the only way the gasket would go, I beg to differ, I'd say the reason it has gone is because the engine can't handle the 150 basic and certainly couldn't handle any of the remapping that people are doing. Why else would the 150 be discontinued?

    So now I ask a question, how mant others on here have had their head gasket replaced? With the DS4 being released shortly this is going to make for interesting reading for watchdog.

    Top gears' car of the year is great! if only for 5'000 miles.

            Your cup really is half-empty rather than half-full, isn't it! Are you sure you're not just waiting for it to break down again, so you can say "I told you so, it really is crap".

            I don't know where you've got the idea from that the 150's been discontinued. That's news to me. And as for not being able to handle the power, have you stopped to think just how many cars there are out there, running versions of that engine with 150+ bhp? No, I thought not.

            I'm not aware of anyone else on here having had a THP head gasket problem - but machines can, and do, go wrong, irrespective of the manufacturer. Get it fixed and move on.

              True, i know so many cars with the standard engine but there bhp is a heck of a lot more then the standard maybe even up to 100 more, with obvious mods to help out, but still the same block
