Hey guys, as you know I was going to get the DS3 THP 150. Well, insurance has gone up by 30% and now can deffinately not afford it anymore. = ( gutted or what.

Get an e HDI 90 Airdream +, my daughter who is 23 pays £550 fully comp with Admiral, 70 miles + to the gallon, no road tax, happy days.

Try insurance company 'bell'. Their joint with admiral but cheaper. Im 20 too..got the white limited 120bhp and pay just over £1000 with a claim on my name!
Cheaper insurance than wat my pug 106 1.1 was!!!!

Well, my heart was set on the THP 150 to be honest, but I do want the car, I will do an insurance check now on other engines, especially with the 90HDI, I will try Bell and admiral,

Admiral was the best for me and the girlfriend, we're 20&21, 2yrs NCD.. We're paying £1200 at the min.. Can't complain really.

Don't forget to add experienced drivers onto your policy. Our first year it dropped the price by £1000, and it's legal too. However it is not legal to have an experienced driver as the main driver and yourself as a named driver.

Well, I tried the THP 150, and they quoted me on Bell, £2354.98

For the 110 DSport - they quoted me 2532.26....

Not quite sure how that works, I have only had my car licence for just over a year now though, but had a motorbike for 3 years.

Do you have anyone to add on as a named driver? People who have had their license a while.. Parents.. Aunts.. Uncles... etc
