Put my mother on it and it dropped the THP 150 down to £1796.44

Last month when I tried for the car insurance, before the 30% rise, it was £1546

I know a few friends of mine have got their insurance down a little by asking insurance companys if they can beat another companys price.. Don't think it was anything dramatic, maybe a £100 or so cheaper.. Haven't tried it myself but may be worth a go!

I've always found Tesco to be good, I'm 22 with 5 years NCD and paying £75 a month on a 1.6 DStyle+, was paying £60 on the 1.0 C1, lol! That's with everything on as well, legal protection, courtesy car, NCD protection, and business usage.

I have given up on Insurance lmao, my C2 is costing me £144.60 a month (1.589 yearly), this month with 1 years no claims, down to £73.45 a month (857 yearly)

I think that I might just stay with the C2 for a couple more years, and hope 3 years experience and *Hopefully* 3 years NCD,

Blimey, insurance is expensive! I've just been quoted about £300 for the year on my new 150THP - luckily in my case insurance is based on your real age, rather than the age I feel like!

Interestingly though mine is about £70 or so less with my other half on, not that I'm telling her she's on there in case she likes my car! Luckily she's a 4x4 type so not too interested, she might be when she sees the leather, etc. She's not seen the car yet as I go and buy our cars by myself :-)

                            Regards,
                            Clive.

£300 is what I pay for THP petrol sport, I feel sorry for the youngsters that are sensible they pay nearly as much as month for insurance than they do for the car itself.... but then again its some of the youngster and the thousands of foreigners in this country driving around with no insurance that pushes it up.
