Thanks for the heads up re photo bucket. Here is one image taken on my iPad. I haven't found an iPad app yet that allows you to censor the numberplate.

I'm used to Paint Shop Pro on the PC and found a similar app called Photgene that allows all sorts of special effects. I've posted my pics in the piccies sub forum.
