  • Collecting on 30 June, question

I am collecting my Black DS3 DSport + 150bhp tomorrow. Can anyone confirm whether it will come with locking wheel nuts as it has alloys? The accessory is £85 which is a bit steep.

    Thanks in advance

Good question Ian. I just ordered mine today (same model in Sport Red) and never thought of that......

Will be interested in people's reply - never crossed my mind that a manufacturer would consider deliverying a car without locknuts on Alloys nowadays......

    Thanks,
    Clive.

I finally collected my car after waiting 2 weeks for the DVLA to sort my private plate out.

        I cant stop grinning

        Pics to follow

I signed all the paperwork to transfer my plate about 3 weeks ago - last week the dealer called me (they were sorting all the paperwork) advising they had forgotten to get me to sign the V5 of the DS3.

          So the wait continues

And I've just had to tax my current car as it ran out yesterday.

Hi minty, as Zack says, locking nuts are standard.

Ask for a free tank or something for the inconvenience.. I know it's just a mistake but jeeez I'd be pee'd off! lol

Also, if you're PXing your current car then just take the tax disc out, as you can get a refund on any remaining full months paid

Thats why I never put a private plate straight onto a new car, I always reg the new car with a standard number and pop up to the local office to do the transfer once the V5 arrives, never had a customer wait anymore then 7 days to complete, plus you don't have to fanny around with insurance!

On a side note you will need to ask before removing the Tax disc as it will belong to the dealer as you are PX'ing the car, it shouldn't be an issue but don't just take it.

The C5 and the DS3, I know which one I prefer.
