How do I get a D53 reg?

Advice sought from members with personalised reg. How do I find a D53 reg? I've looked at all the usual sites, DVLA etc but the numbers don't include 53. I would like to try and get hold of D53 followed by my initials. Also D53 TOY and other similar ones might be available and pretty cheap until the dealers and DVLA catch on.
I fear I may already have bumped the price up by writing this.

I think you're probably at least a year too late, tbh. No harm in keeping a look out though.

Yes indeed, speculators are very quick to snap up such registrations, some people almost do it for a living...

What initials are you after following something looking like DS3? pm me them if you want and I'll see if I can see any for you.

There are loads of great D53 plates from between £215 & £1000 I could put a list up on this thread (might cause a stampede) or if members want to send me a private message with a combination of letters they would like I will see what i can find. Free advice and at no profit if i find a suitable plate or just a small drink lol

You can get A DS3 JON but it would cost £1020. The DVLA charge more if the last 3 letters spell a name
