I have now just been informed my car will not be available until a weak today, that is 4 weaks from leaving the factory, every body else seems to get theirs in about 2 weaks, should i be concearned ?

There might have been a problem during transit but in that case they should have told you.
My dealer said they had to put a ds3 a week back because during transit the wee big lorry strap things that basically hold the car in place, were hitting off the alloys which meant they had to order in a replacement, this is probably common amongst other things as the car has to travel a good distance. -

The dealer told me it had left the factory on 22nd June. 11 days ago they told me I would have the car between 7 & 10 days. Now they say a week today. They say the delivery company will wait till the truck is full before delivering, this is what the delay is? I do not know if they are talking bullish*tComment

As Zack said it takes at least 18 days for a DS3 to make it from the factory to the dealer. Check out my lead time thread for info.
