  • Audi TT Quattro driver loves DS3 Sport ......

So much so I'm going to buy one, I test drove a DS3 Sport last weekend and absolutely loved it. So impressed with build quality, standard equipment (on the DS3Sport plus) the model which I'm going to order. I was also impressed with the smooth power delivery and instant throttle response, handling was also crisp. Now considering my TT quattro is remapped and producing approx 270 bhp, and to say I'm that I'm impressed with this little pocket rocket is praise indeed....I'm still keeping my TT but will still get excited about ordering my DS3. Well done Citreon.
By the love this forum and will be a regular poster.

Thanks, i have been browsing this site for a few days, and like very much what i read. I will defo consider a remap once i take delivery of my DS3. I havent actually placed an order yet as i dont want the car until the end of October, that's when my missus hands back her current car back to the dealers and then she will have my TT. I will defo go for a white sport 150 THP but not 100% sure to go for a plus edition or spec it myself, as i fancy the lama and minstrel leather combo and you cant get that option on a DS3 Sport plus. I will be having a yellow DS3 Sport 150 THP to test drive for a whole weekend at the end of the month, just because the dealer offered me the car to play with for the weekend so it would have been rude not to accept his offer...lol. To be truthful i had already made my mind up after my first test drive last weekend that i wanted a DS3.

I could also be very very tempted to have a white DS3R......

Welcome Graham, go for the DS3R!

I was going to go for a 110Hdi but as I stepped down from 480BHP RWD I had to be sensible so went for a Racing.

          Hi Steff
How does the DSR feel as an everyday drive ? Is it a hard ride, I can imagine it feels pretty rapid.

Well I collected it on the 8th May and I've just flicked past 4000 miles in it!

It's great as an everyday, the ride is firm, but very good, not too harsh at all, and it corners unbelievably well!

It is rapid and I've not yet found any part of the rev band where it's a bit sluggish, plenty of power in every gear.

I'm averaging 41MPG at the moment but it will happily do 50MPG on a run.

Don't forget, it's also cheaper to tax and does better MPG that the THP150.

Yes, it costs more, but it's worth every penny!

A fully spec'd THP is almost £20k so it's not a great deal more.

            Highly recommend one!!
