Early delivery of lease car.. take it or leave it?

Dilemma.. my new Hdi Sport will be ready earlier than thought - I got news that it's now left the factory, which is great... 6 weeks early as they told me 12 weeks at the end of May. BUT if I have it delivered now (say in 1-2 weeks when it's prepped), I won't get a 61 reg, which I really wanted. I told them to keep it for me til 1st September... am I mad?

If you really want to wait then wait. In all honesty it is not that long to wait if you are really bothered by a registration number. I would honestly not have the patience but that's just me so the choice is really yours.

Yes it's a lease car but I will end up paying for the lease 1 month earlier than planned.. so this could give me a bit more time to save!

Oh you make it sounds so loooooooong! I know the 61 reg is only novel for 6 months, or less even, until you've seen many more and it's not unique anymore, but I'd like to be one of those people just ONCE. So, I suppose I've kinda made up my mind anyway.. I did make an appointment to go and see it as soon as it arrives at the dealer's though! (will I regret the colour...?)

There's no way I would wait 6 weeks longer than I had to, get the car and start driving! You'll always be one of those even better people who have a DS3!

I was reg proud for the first few months, and didn't want the 60 to start appearing. Its nothing now!

Like everyone else I couldn't wait but september is so close and with it the start of autumn/winter when you could be driving round in the sun (if we get it, lol)
