Mine seemed OK. Then again I'm not too fussy - it gets washed every 2 or 3 weeks at the local car wash!

Mine was spotless paint wise, other than a single tar mark which I rubbed off. No swirls or anything

They're never going to be able to do it good enough for me - it needs 10-12 hours prep in my opinion. I've done the Aston Martin tour, and to be honest even at £200K for a DBS Volante plus a few toys loaded, I think the prep is too quick and not thorough enough. However that's the mass market for you, manufacturers and dealers are pushed on price and margin so they don't want to budget £300 - £500 prep. Remember Graham 99% of people don't 'see' swirls - and think that means it doesn't matter - but they rob a car of its depth of gloss and reflection.

Five minutes on detailing world looking in The Showroom (for keen amateurs like me) or The Studio (for pros) will show what's achievable.

Graham you must stop asking these questions here, my OCD forces me to reply!

I'm looking forward to finding the time to do mine properly - August is a possibility.......

                    Regards,
                    Clive.

To anybody reading this thread a piece of advice is just ask your dealer, most (such as us) are more than happy to do certain things on request or use favored products.

One customer asked if we would clay bar the car and use a wax of his choosing and another asked us to not to apply anything at all as he was like Clive and a keen budding detailer. One customer even asked us if he could come in and do the prep himself with his own stuff, again it wasn't a problem.

So what I'm saying is that if you don't ask you won't get.
