just checked through a few and can only find the dstyle plus. Ask your dealer being as your insurer can't be arsed to look around. Also if thats their attitude I would go somewhere else, I bet they find it then

It's group 22, he same as the standard DSport. The model is basically a DSport with City Signature and leather seats.

Well ABI just refer you to Thatcham which guess what, don't list it!

Delivered a couple of these and they all fall under the same rating as the DSports as the + is just a DSport with factory options, nothing special!

I think its been out long enough now that insurance companies should recognise it. When mine was registered i thought it would be easier but its not, my log book clearly states sport plus, type reg into insurance websites so it auto brings up what model you got, still says sport lol im just going with admiral now, and hopefully another year may give them chance to sort it.

Hi, when I was looking for my insurance. The insurance broker basically used the D Sport information for the 150thp. The Plus is basically added cosmectic extras - so the value of your vehicle (for insurance purposes should cover this).

You are correct when saying Admiral are the only company to have the D Sport Plus listed as an option.

If ur insurance company is messing you around then just leave and move on. Go with Admiral - exceptional value

Just sorted my insurance out today with admiral as its due on thursday, i got a quote a couple of weeks ago and it was about £140 cheaper than my renewal price, so thought nice one saving a bit of money. Phoned up to take out the cover and they mentioned the multicar thingy, thought i wouldn't be able to do it as my husbands insurance has just been renewed about 3 weeks ago, anyway they explained how it works and i have now added my husband onto the multicar thingy with his car and i have saved another £100, my husband will just have to pay £29 next year for 3 weeks cover to bring it inline with my insurance. Hope that all makes sense it did in my head lol

So my insurance for this next 12 months has cost me £460 for a 28 year old, with 4 years no claims, with 3 points on for speeding. I dont think that is bad at all for me who use to pay £440 for a 1.3 swift with 3 years no claims and no points on license.

Im happy now its sorted for another year :-)

Thanks for that Clair, i have been asked to call my insurer's tomorrow ( More Than ) hopefully they will come through for me, never had so much hassle insuring a car.

prob slightly gone off on a tangent there but i was just pleased with the price i got i just had to say something lol i hope you get it sorted graham, been a hassle for us sport plus owners aint it :-)
