Finally, Confirmation

Well after my dealer never committing himself to a Sept 1st delivery for my DSport Plus THP (he kept just saying yea, it'll be the first week definitely), i thought i'd just try one more time today!

Id also been waiting for the confirmation it'd arrived at the dealer after leaving the factory on July 22nd

Anyhuuuu

After giving him a sob story (i actually am going to a wedding on the Sat) i finally got him to fit me in for collection on the 1st wooohoo. It was meant to be delivered as i bought it online and the dealers in Derby, but im going on the train to get it and i said im not bothered about a long handover showing me how stuff works, as long as the pedals are in the normal order, just give me the keys!

He also told me it'd arrived at the dealers last night, which i thought was a long time to get from France?

Finally, i got my reg (which is a boring one and says nothing lol) so i can book it on the ferry back to France for the following week, as im taking it to the Frankfurt Motor Show and round Germany for a week

Roll on the 1st! 2 weeks tomorrow :redface:

Red and black

Wanted my previous Clio 200 in red, but wasn't available on the CUP so got white

Could've got the DS in white and saved myself a few quid, but its a case of been there had that, try something else!

Saying that, they do look good in white

I am still waiting for mine !! Arghhhhh !!! Derby citroen rang last week and said they been told it will be built and leaving the factory sept 14th then gotta wait for it to get to uk

I saw several DS3s at Citroen Derby last week. I thought to myself 'how many of those are for DS3 club members' - I think Steve has the DS3 market nailed for those who like a great deal!

Definitely, i managed to get it about £3k cheaper than i could using staff discount at my old work, and as many other discounts as they could put on it!

Never let on though to other Citroen dealers who is supplying it, as im sure they're not aloud to sell to Joe public at fleet prices?!

Yes they are and if anyone else tells you differently there's laws to protect us. It's called free competition and if they want to sell to us for a just a few quid margin that's their right! Tell who you want!

As you know the internet brokers are taking a cut too (often the way most people get introduced) - so there is little margin left - I know if you contact the same said dealer via their showroom guys, you'll get very little off the price!
