    Any views on these? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/H1-100W-XE...item2eb69c0636

Would these work? Ive seen people getting the HID conversion kit, but would these be easier and give similar effect or are these to stay clear of?

No mention in their description that 100W bulbs are illegal for road use! £99 for a pair of no-name bulbs? No wonder they can afford to throw in a pair of 501 bulbs!

If you just want the Barry Boy look, go ahead & waste your money; if you want better (legal) headlight performance, go for Osram Nightbreaker Plus.

Wasnt so much asking about them particular bulbs, just really wanted to know if you can get just bulbs that you can swap the origonal bulbs with. Rather than having to buy a HID conversion kit and have to install it. Just want replacement bults that are white, bright light but not stupidly bright that you blind everyone. So these Osram bulbs are what im looking for?

      thanks

          These http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ring-Sport...item27b92dfe69

They're whiter than the Osram nightbreakers, and only £14 from a reputable company. Have had these in our last 2 cars, and now our DS3. They are the same colour as standard HID's (4300k) and don't look chavvy, aka bright butchers shop fly scarer blue lol

Thanks guys, will look into them

            So these ones? http://www.powerbulbs.com/product_detail.asp?prod=114

Some reason there site doesnt list the DS3 in the drop down menu, so do I just select C3 instead?

            Thanks

Note that Demon Tweeks website says: "Not E marked/not road legal"! Personally I wouldn't touch any Ring product - their quality isn't among the best!

Doesn't really matter what vehicle you specify - you need H7s for the dipped beams, H1s for the main beams.

I don't know how "white" Nightbreakers are, but they have consistently performed best in comparison tests. On the DS3 I've found that they take the patchiness out of the dipped beam & give a much better range of illumination on both dipped & main beams.

will my fog lights look yellow compared to them?

Possibly...But if the weather is bad enough to warrant having fog lights on who is going to care?

If I cant have my DRLs, fog lights and sidelights are the best next thing xD

then when it gets really dark i switch to normal lights.
