  • Ending bluetooth phone call

Is there a short cut using buttons on the RH stalk to "hang up " when you finish a call, instead of scrolling through buttons on the stereo.

The button on the end of the stereo control stalk does what you want I believe. You can also use it to initiate a call by pressing for a couple of seconds, this will bring up a short menu where you can select call history or phone book, use the wheel on the stalk to scroll through the lists & then press the button to select.

You can also start a call in the same manner.

I found this out when calling people through the bluetooth function and when it goes to voicemail i want to hang up and end up having to get me phone out which defeated the object. I found if in a call and you want to hang up, hold the button down on the end of the stalk. It comes up with a message 'Do you want to hang up' select yes or no.

Useful info, Arlow. It took me about 30 seconds to work out how to end a call the first time I used it, just stabbing at the buttons.

I must admit control wise I like everything on the DS3 but I do find the bluetooth controls fiddly - I believe to answer you press the same end of stalk button that you've answered Graham with here - I took a call yesterday and despite my best efforts it just kept the 'accept yes / no' on the screen and didn't answer...

                Am I doing something wrong?

Once connected, the bluetooth reception and clarity of voice both car end and people on their phones listening to you in the car is very good though.

                Thanks,
                Clive.
