Factory 2 dealer how long ??

My ds3 is due to be finished this Wednesday at factory, does anyone know normal or estimated time till it's at dealer Mine is in Derby, nearly a 12 week wait over, all down hill from now !!!! Can't wait !!! :-)

i haven't heard anything since the 14th of july... to say thanks for the order.. so frustrating, seems to be the longest wait ever.

Had a letter from citroen head office confirming and thank you for order etc, dealer told me factory build date sept 14th so hope not to much longer !!!

Mine was about 3 weeks, altho i think they can come sooner - something to do with the train, they have to wait until its full or something?

Don't want to be negative, But i have had a build exit date ot 7-9-11 for a month or more only to be told last friday that i have a new build date of this thursday 15th. Not impressed. Dealer then said it should be ready at the dealers by 24-9-11, not going to hold my breath.

I ordered mine, a diesel sport, on the 25th May and it was ready for collection 2nd week in August. So about 11 or 13 weeks. I waited until 1st Sept to have it delivered tho.

When I ordered my Sport + I was told that they would probably be able to source from UK stock . A week later I had a message form Citroen saying that a factory order had been placed but no timescales . Is this a standard email that everyone gets or does this actually mean that they are building from scratch ? If so when can I find an approx delivery date ?

I ordered mine 13th July and as yet nothing has changed on the system since day 1, says "expected delivery between 26th September - 2nd October". The dealer said this is to me. I rung Citroen last week to ask why there was such a delay and a complete lack of information and they told me "expected arrival into UK on week starting 26th September, latest delivery date to me 11th October.". I pointed out that I thought a 15 week delivery timescale was a joke when quoted around 8 weeks, they replied it is typically 10 to 15 weeks for delivery. I got my Focus RS quicker than that :-(

As of today I still have no build date, nothing, don't know if all manufacturers are like this but so far not impressed.

Guys, do remember that the factory was closed during august so any orders in July would result in a September production month build. For more info go and check out my lead time thread.
