Who is the provider of the roadside assistance provided on all new Citroens?

Also, is it European, or just the cheapest available?

The cover is provided by the AA through Citroen Assistance (08000 72 72 72), the cover you get is Home start, Roadside Recovery, Relay, Onward Travel. The European Cover is for member countries of the EU, there is a different number to dial which is in the handbook.

The only things that are not free are mis-fueling, locked keys, punctures, these incur a surcharge for call out.

The period of cover depends on whether or not you have Elect3, if you do then the standard 1 year cover is extended to 3 years on new cars.

You should be ok but my Citroen Assistance did not cover me for europe. I think that had something to do with the firm leasing it to me (not a citroen dealer) too tight probably to pay the difference

Not very good when the car doesn't come with a spare as standard, the repair kit can't repair every type of puncture :mad:

I presume this still applies even if you settled the Elect 3 completely after one month? I guess so, as the compulsory AA cover was purchased and added to the Elect 3 purchase price....

As long as the dealer registered you onto the Assured System, might be worth checking out as Citroen UK doesn't do it automatically until about three months down the line and I'm not sure if your deal would be seen as it's settled.
