  • Old Fart

Hi everyone I'm Jon, new to the site and the proud owner of beautiful black DSport+ 110 hdi.
I've never been a member of a car club before but there's something about the DS3 that inspired me to
    give it a try.
My choice of title was deliberate, because, on reading several threads, I get the distinct impression that I
am not the youngest person in the club. ( DS3 that is )
I also seem to be geographically out on a limb living where I do and would love to travel to the meet at Donnington
but having been in the past to the bike GP some years ago I know that to do the day justice an overnight stay would
    be required.
So the old fart up north is wondering if there are any members north of Preston and south of Glasgow or over in the N.E.
who would like to maybe arrange a meet within easier travelling distance.

                  Jon,

I am coming to the conclusion that the DS3 was also aimed at the mid-life crisis market! There's loads of us it seems and it'll do me for a bit longer yet!

Pocket rocket, fast as flip, sticks to corners like it shouldn't do, head turner and never had as many questions / queries about a more than reasonably priced car!

                  Enjoy! Live once, etc, etc...

                  Regards,
                  Clive.

                    Hi Clive,
I must agree with everything you've just said. All the looks and questions, mainly due to there not being many around.
I wish I'd one when I was younger, but I wouldn't have known how to drive it properly then.

                    Cheers,
                    Jon

I'm 34 so don't know if I qualify for an 'old farts' club badge or not.

The first DS3 I delivered was to an 82 year lady who was part of the original 'Club 100'!
