Citroen just called me, some real info at last. It's in "production 5" stage at the moment, with a total of 6 stages altogether, so it is actually being built. Is this normal that production has started but nothing is showing on the system?

Was that Citroen UK?? Never heard of production stage 5 before! Normally a car is completed with 9 hours.

The Dealer system only gets updated when the order is given a VIN which marks it as completed, I am not sure if CUK have access to something else and I must admit I have never heard they mention it before.

Yes that was Citroen UK, they are getting the info from "supply and distribution". She offered to call back distribution and get some more details and call me back tomorrow.

                          I found a website:
                          http://www.psa-peugeot-citroen.com/e...l_visit_b4.php

This lists 5 stages. Not sure if related.

So I guess if it is in production but not yet finished this might explain why it is not yet on the system. I'll see what else she says tomorrow and report back. Cheers

The fustration continues for me too....

Citroen called today and told me there is now a revised factory exit date of 18th October, expected delivery between 25th October to early November.

Ordered July 13th, only been given any information as of this week, and now this news.......now looking at it being a 17 week wait.....

Supply and Distribution are a department at Citroen UK, never hear of them being able to get this information before, but with that said there is a new system coming into place soon to 'real time' track vehicles.

Thanks for the link, never found that before so I hope you don't mind me stealing it for my delivery lead time thread.

Only when production is finished are the car given their VIN number and that when the dealer systems are updated with regards to build.
