My ds3 has left the factory !!!

Well my ds3 special ed got left factory on wed now at calais so i should have it soon seems they are keen to ship them over, my new stereo and leads have all turned up cnt wait been nearly 3 months!!

Car has today landed in uk it's in a holding area near thames valley think he said ?? Looking at end of next week start of following now ! Really can't wait now nearly there !!!

Ordered mine 13th July, White/black hdi dsport. Original delivery date was 16th September, second delivery date was
30th september, this is the email I got from my dealer yesterday "Build time has been put back
slightly on all DS3s petrol and diesel models. We are now awaiting 37 DS3s.
we have now been told by Citroen that they should be leaving factory 2nd
week of October. At this moment in time I do not have an exact date for the
vehicle arriving with us. Sorry for the inconvenience but all in all there
are well over a 1000 DS3s that have been delayed from Citroen. Citroen are
obviously aware that this is causing immense problems for customers and
dealers throughout the network. I will keep you informed of further updates
and where Citroen are up to with your new car" he's now said before end of October?? Anybody who has had big delays had any luck with any kind of compensation??

There has been a delay with a lot of citroen, peugeot models due to lack of a specific part. The thread is on here somewhere.

End of October is still only just over 12 wks which is standard. I waited 16 for mine.

I've ordered a Dsport Plus in white/black, ordered 13th July too. It was on the system as "arrival" between 26th September to 2nd October. There system didn't update itself until very recently where it now says factory exit around 18th October. I rung Citroen UK a couple of times and they couldn't tell me much more than the dealer to be honest. Even if they knew something, lack of parts, they certainly didn't let on. As far as compensation they said to call back after I had got the car and they would see what they can do, but certainly no real help. I expect to see mine realistically sometime early November, that's if there is no change to the factory exit date, it seems we're all in the same boat. For me it will work out at being around a 17 week order, with 5 weeks of that discounted because factory was shut in August, so a 12 week order. I have to say had I known this at time of order I sure wouldn't have sold my other car so quick!

sure is buddy ..i ordered mine before you and still no sign but at least your dealer had the courtesy to inform you ...........more than ive had ,i said jokingly in a post in august that i bet its snowing before i get it lol hmmmmmmmmm looks like its commin true
