I've been using the GuardX Glassguard on my glass. Apart from being a glue-sniffer's delight it produces the most amazing beading on the screen during rain; water just does not want to stick to the windscreen. forward motion just send the raindrops scuttling upwards like a horde of insects.
There is a problem with this, however. Operating the wipers produces a smeary mess, which lasts for a couple of seconds before clearing.
Should I remove the glass guard (with what? Fairy Liquid?) so that the rain actually wets the windscreen? Or is there something else what I should be using on the glass?
