Regular Forum users may hv been watching my threads over last 2 weeks re going to collect my wifes new Polar White/Black roof/wheels Petrol DSport only to find the bumper a slightly different shade to the body (I am UBER particular and while Citroen hv confirmed it is 'within tolerance' it wasnt what I wanted), well, the dealer was fantastic about it, came up with a red DSport+, we came to a compromise over the price difference and we picked it up yesterday and traded in our 13 month old White/black DStyle 1.6VTi. Point is that the garage have the White DSport in stock, fully prepped and ready to go fab looking motor specced with City Sig pack (rear park sensors, auto dimming mirrror, auto lights/wipers and auto folding mirrors + leather gear knob option) - even has a full tank of fuel as we agreed in the deal! I asked the salesman yesterday what they were doing with it and he said it was going on as a demo car but my thought was if anyone wants one in a hurry (and isnt quite so OCD about every last minute detail as me)then ring Richard Dade at Duff Morgan Citoen, Norwich on 01603 775477 pronto and there may be a deal to be had.
Chuffed to bits with this car so far even though we've only done 30 miles! My wife and I couldnt sleep last night cos we cant wait to get back out in it today - I was prepared to pay the extra above the year old DStyle for the turbo DSport and its money very well spent.
As an aside if anyone wants a fab unmarked year old DStyle with 9k 'very cherished' miles and City Sig pack, our trade-in is also for sale at Duff Morgan as above.
Have to say its a refreshing change to still hv dealers like this, they bent over backwards to get a deal which was good for them AND me, didnt even flinch when I wouldnt have the white car (even though they will hv bn put to trouble and cost) and found this red one, prepped it and we collected it all within 12 days and price difference was very fair indeed (this is the 3rd Citroen from them on the trot).
