My names Matt i'm the DS specialist at Lookers Citroen in Preston. I have been working with the DS product since its launch and hopefully should be able to answer any questions you have about specifications, availability things your dealer tells you etc. Also i can take your techy questions to our technicians and get feedback for you if required.

I've posted a message to the site owner as ideally i would also like to offer special rates on accessories and also discounts on new and used DS vehicles to you all so hopefully if this gets ok'ed i will do that in the near future.

However for the moment if theres anything you want to ask or know about DS then please feel free to ask away!

Thanks guys, just to re itterate i'm not Citroen UK or a consortium of dealers ! I work for Lookers in Preston, any issue with them and i'm more than happy to look into it and sort the problem but i'm not really in a position to speak to other dealers for you. If there are any queries or problems with other dealers i'm more than happy to offer you advice as to what you can expect from them but that's about all !

Can you please find out for us what Citroen's official response is to the THP 150 issues? Are they acknowledging that the engine is not fit for purpose and all modifications that have been applied to the engine thus far have been unsuccessful?

Good luck getting a response on this one!
Citroen are definitely aware of the problem hence the implementation of the PCV delete fix in later cars however their economic fix so far appears to be to replace the engines, take their time about it and then fob you off as if nothing ever happened.

Atleast that has been mine and Stef's experience so far.. My guess is Matt will be joining us shortly

LOL !! Guys, just looked on Citroen UK's internal recall server, there are no official recall notices regarding the THP engine other than an earth strap for the battery at this moment in time. All i can say is from our side of things we've not had one single issue with this engine at all to date. I will keep an eye on the recall buletins and if there is any official word from Citroen UK then i will post it on here immediatly for you
