Interior reading lights don't work???

Hi all , right I picked my new 1.6 EHDI DSport saturday afternoon and for some reason I can't get the reading lights either side of the courtesy light to work.???
Anyone else know of this issue or is it a second miss build on my car? 1st being I have a round black steering wheel lol not a silver flatterend one..

First off I take it that the courtesy light is working?

Yup sweet as, works as it should.

Nothing either side tho ??

This is going to sound a little odd, but I would suggest popping the cover off and checking to see if you have the bulbs fitted.

Yup there in ther Bowes
Can see them easy enough,

Right had a look and took whole unit out and there not even wired up!!??
The centre is plugged in and wired up ok but no power or plugs feeding either side?

Any ideas or this how it should be.

Going back to dealers tomoz so making a list which is getting longer now grrrrr:mad:

I've had this Problem Rufus Since Picking The Car Up 14 Months Ago ! - I Just Keep Forgetting To Tell them Whenever It Goes In + Yes I Do Have The Bulbs Fitted !

What Also Doesn't Work Are The Lights Either Side of The Sunshade Mirrors - Again Since I Picked The Car Up lol

You do know that the reading lights only work when the engine is running yes?

Yes mate I tried it running and off and neither work,
I'm sure it must be due to no power to them.
I just looped the power from centre buld and they come on ok , but no plugs in them to power individually ??

If anyone's work can they confirm they are plugged in or wired from the centre only ??

Ok that is the exact same as mine then ?? Centre plug and 2 spare either side yet they all work..

So why won't they work on mine ??

Maybe they were disabled to allow the DRL's to be on with the sidelights :rolleyes:

The only options I can offer now is to have a dealer check them or try swearing like a pirate at the lights in the faint hope that they hear you, get scared and as a result start to work.

Shout I may but at the dealer,

I can also confirm that the visor lights do not work !!

So
No reading lights
No Visor lights
Wrong steering wheel
Drl don't go off with side lights on
Flatterend paint on roof as they must tried to remove soink and took most of laquer with it.

But hay let's hope they resolve them !! ALL !!!!
