Thanks for the info. When I first bought it, it was averaging 55ish for the first few thousand and then it went up to 64 mpg, which I was happy about and then it went back down to 54mpg and I couldn't get any better.
I've put on snow wheels and tyres, Michelen Alpins, which are working great and average mileage is up to 57mpg. Wouldn't have guessed that, maybe because the steel wheels are a lot lighter than the alloys.
Do you know if there are caps available to cover the front wheel nuts, like the back ones?
Also, can the the pedals be changed to the Dsport ones, they are better to drive on and one of the rubber boots come off mine.
Sorry about all the questions but you are the 'Citroen Bloke'!

Best thing is to pop on a wheel cover, won't look pretty but it will do the job of protecting the bolts, you can buy the silver bolt covers if you wish or just use the ones that were on the alloys to start with.

The pedals are available as a dealer accessory which you can fit yourself or have the dealer do it, can't say that they are better for driving with as I can 'Heel & Toe' with either version but they do look nice! Only thing is once they are fitted you will need to keep them dry as the little screws will rust on the top will rust.

OK, cheers, I will ask the dealer, I'm glad it's an easy change and yes they do look good. It's going to be hard to keep them dry up here but good advice.
I'm trying to do the all black wheel thing without some bad wheel covers, I've ordered black bolt covers and painted the rear centre cap black, it's just the front centre nuts that look a bit naff. The car's all black too by the way!

Which wheels do you have on your DS3, the Asheras or the Bellones?

            I have the Bellones
Now I've put the 16" steels with the bigger winter tyres.
