+1 to the Wales. Real nice roads when we went to WRC.

Roads that run through Dartmoor dip and twist and are nice, not a bad surface either.
*Just watch out for the sheep and horses on the road.*

The A686 from Penrith over Hartside to Hexham takes some beating, and still kills a few a year who aren't as good as they think they were

Yesterday i travelled back from Swindon to Nottingham and i normally go on the A429 great road but i got diverted and ended going on the old 'fosse way' the A4455, what a cracker some great straights and some lovely twisty bits the kids loved gettin chucked about in the back :cool:
