I am old skool and 40 and as such am scared to death of mapping my car although i really would like to! I am tiring of the lack of power in my car and would love a more responsive engine, the110hdi has the better gearbox too!

Well the THP engine has been in mini's for a few years now and they haven't sorted them! I'm not risking buying a car that will fuck up all time :-/ carnt afford that! What torque has yours got zack?
And what's the difference between the dsport and the dsport+ ??

A load of options and more expensive, comes with the city signature pack, full black leather, a few bits of chrome I think and not sure what else. I've gone for the e-hdi version of the 110 which is free tax as well and I think the gearbox has slightly longer gears but probably wrong, mine seems to have longer 6th than the test car which was a Dsport hdi

theres sptuning in burbage , hinckley leicestershire which is the one i think zacks on bout they r gonna fit my BOV and lexia my drls. dont no of anywhere else tht maps anythin else except the THP - viezu

That comes with the Dsport plus, think its all in the city signature pack

I never thought there were so many problems with the THP! Mine's fine and has no chance of me keeping it for 3 years - It's non-mapped but seems sprightly enough!

Is there a massive difference in the engine from the Mini Cooper S?? Because from what i've heard thats a pretty reliable car, i can't understand why the THP has such a bad name.

there must be some differences as the cooper s has more bhp. I never had any issues with my S either so bmw must do something citroen dont.
