did 24,000 in my THP 150 and never had a twitch of a problem
it was recently sold with 37,000 on, and no suggestion there had been a problem (i enquired as a possible buyer)

At 8500 miles and not had a single problem with mine, engine or anything else. Hopefully the DS5 will be the same when I pick it up tomorrow.

Never had a problem yet, oil topped up constantly, checked weekly on all fluids and always warmed up and cooled down properly for 3-4 minutes before and after starting to drive, not given stick until fully warmed up at full temperature.

DS3 Racing - just hit 21,000 miles now.

I've never had the common faults but a few months ago, mine had to have the fuel pump replaced. It was probably on about 22,000miles at the time. Luckily it was done under warranty.

May actually be more common than you think.... Just had mine replaced last week and I've read of a few others with similar issues.

Bunch of high pressure fuel pumps and coolant temp sensors and water pumps and timing chain issues and some little electro valve that I think I know what it does but not exactly sure and the coked up inlet valves. Sure there are others but have seen people mention these over and over here.

Electro valve? That's most likely the electric turbo coolant pump. Its a small electronic pump that runs when the ignition is switched off so to keep cooling the turbo housing. Had mine done a month ago. Dealer picked up on an error code.

Also had temp sensor changed and all coil packs and spark plugs replaced so far.

There's a couple of electro valves down the back of the engine, one is the boost controller( called N75 in the VW world), the other is the fuel tank vapour vent thingy electro valve, it vents fuel vapour into the inlet manifold when the turbo is not boosting.

Dsport petrol 51000 miles, anti pollution lights, uneven tick over, excessive exhaust when warming up, travelled 1 mile anti pollution light on and fan running.
Sudden loss of oil through timing belt tensioner finally spelt the end of our friendship..........trying the diesel Dsport next hoping for better !!
