  • Help please with rear light securing screw

Hi! I had to change my passenger side rear light as it got cracked. unfortunately during the change over my husband dropped the butterfly screen that secures the light and we couldn't find it anywhere, it just disappeared!! Anyway I have scoured the web for one but again can't find one. Does anyone know where I can buy one from please? Many thanks in advance

Could try a breakers yard. Either that or if the butterfly nut screws onto a metal thread you could try a local DIY centre for nuts that have the same thread size and a large washer.

Thank you. I did think about trying a regular nut, I just wanted to see if I could track down the correct part as I'm part exing my car very soon!

I agree breaker's yard or Citroen parts department - the latter can at least supply you a part number to search online.

You could try popping into you local dealer, they might have a big box of spare bits which you could raid!  Failing that you can just use a regular nut to secure the light.

You'll find it as soon as the PX the car! I doubt they would notice if you did take it in with a replacement on

My car was missing a side skirt when I part exed it! :S

But yeah, I'd go for a scrappy of a breaking listing on Ebay.
