I'm totally the opposite, hate it. A DS3 well should be, well a DS3, not lets stretch, or whatever it and make it an estate or make it into something it's not. A DS3 for me will always be a 3 door small hatchback with the best looking DRL's I've seen on any car to date.
Nope. Nope nope nope. Hate SUVs and "crossovers". Plus they ruined the whole "floating roof" of the DS3 with that shitty chrome window trim. Haven't manufacturers realised chrome is dying out, to be replaced with colour accents or gloss black finishings (e.g. new Audi Q3 front grille)?
Hmmm. OK so DS want to make a crossover. Fine by me, but call it something other than DS3. Like Pete has said, the DS3 name should be kept for the little 3 door hatch we all adore and own(ed). They have managed to keep the shark fin, but lost the floating roof as Ben says, by lining the bloody windows with chrome. Now I'm unlike most owners and quite like my chrome front end, but I do not like what they have done with it surrounding the windows on this.
I know they want to keep being inventive and join the crossover revolution, but please leave the DS3 name for the car that's synonymous with it.
I can cope with most of it except the front end. It looks a mess like they've spent too long trying to get it right. Sometimes simple clean lines are what's required.
I'll be rather upset if the next DS3 has that face.
By the time it comes out it will have been at least 10 years since the original which shows just how great the design was as its still a smart looking car on the road. I guess I just hoped the extra time would have resulted in something better.
I'm not sure where else the DS3 can go really, as it's been so iconic already. It's like the Mini Cooper and Fiat 500 - all they can do is facelift it but it's still the same car really. Can't make too many style changes otherwise it's a different car.
