Little things in the cabin of my wife's DS3 Connected Chic

Vague thread title!!

So we became a two DS3 family yesterday when my wife bought a connected chic to add to my eHDI Ice Edition

I noticed there are a couple of "things" around eye height on each of the windscreen pillars. They look like LEDs behind a little plastic cage or perhaps motion sensors (for an alarm).

They aren't on my old Citreon DS3.

What are they?

They are indeed alarm motion sensors. I have them in mine and if you look down to the right of the steering wheel, where the 3 "buttons" are just above the "storage hole" (I put my sunglasses and case in there) the centre one should have a flashing red LED on it too. The alarm only came on certain models IIRC.

Sounds like the alarm. If not that then the mics for hands free (if this car even has it)

Lock car with a window down then wave your arm in part the thing. If it sets the alarm off it's that

They are the sensors for the alarm system.
