    Hi can any one tell me why my racing idles a 1k rpm or is it just me thought it should idle round the 6 700 mark the heaters or the cd player aint on either are the lights and the temps on half never drive it while its cold either always let it warm up first puzzling me now big time cheers

      Check fuel trims, maybe small air leak, PCV, throttle body issue....
      Also cam timing can cause high idle speed.

        This sometimes happens to me, but revving it to 2k and letting it settle sorts that out for me. Even when its at 700 it goes up for no reason at all to drop back down 1 min later.

          They can act a little odd sometimes, mine does it sometimes, fuel trims go wild when it does. But switch off and restart all is ok again.

            Found the problem was the o2 sensor once that was changed its been fine ever since now p1385 witch i belive its the varibable cam timing solenoid witch i have a new one and also p2337 has come witch im more worried about
