My DS3 has disappeared from the DVLA database!

I’m still loitering around even though I don’t have my DS3 any more. We parted ways in Sep 2016 but I curiously had a look on the DVLA site to see if it was still running and to my horror... it has vanished from the database, or so it seems.

“Vehicle details could not be found”.

I can only imagine that someone has written it off? It was a 13 plate and very well looked after so I’d be surprised if it was just scrapped. Either that or it’s now on private plates, perhaps... anyone else experienced similar?

My old Suzuki Swift got a private plate put on it for 3 years and stopped appearing on all databases. I actually found out the new reg by googling the old one and the make and model. My car check appeared and brought back a private plated Suzuki with the same reg date as my old one.

Appears they've fixed that handy loop hole now though.
