What model of DS3 do you have? Most of the dashboards I've seen have the "Hi-Fi System" speaker on the top middle of it, but I have seen the odd one with just a sensor, which I think is something to do with a climate pack option. Have you checked your handbook, as it should list all the dash functions and features in there.

This would be the climate sensor, yes this is in a C3 but it's the same thing in the same place on a DS3.
