  • DS3 150 sport - Clutch stupidly high

    Hey Guys,

Misses just got the 150bhp sport DS3, cracking car however one thing that is wrong is the clutch being stupidly high, Im talking all way up before it bites.

Can someone tell me is this possible to tighten, will be ringing the garage she got it from tomorrow to have it sorted out, Like every other car theres posts of clutch issues however it stalls etc so I dont think its a wear issue (if it is they can replace it).

Is this one a cable (I can see the 2013 one as parts online) or is it hydraulic?

Surely its a simple 20 min job to tighten or am I wrong?

I just answered a thread on this, yes the DS3 has a very high bite, it's very odd but you will get used to it. I had a huge argument with the garage I bought mine from to get them to replace the clutch because I thought the same - ended up compromising and paying £100 towards it, but it was hardly any different afterwards.

Cheers, it can be fixed I know that but as it stands it’s really bad even for reversing. It needs lowered somewhat to be able to drive the thing. Never have I seen this so high in a car.

If they cant it will be going back to them, since it’s hydraulic it just needs the pipe a quarter turn to tighten it and from what I can see it’s easy to get to if you have. Ramp.

Ill phone citeron in the morning get confirmation from one of the spanner’s then have them sort it out.

There is no such thing to adjust the clutch pedal. It's hydrolic and no way to adjust it. At least not on a THP.

Phoned up citeron they said it may be worn out or at the end of its life cycle. With 30k on it and woman driving (no offence indented or sexism here) with the power this thing puts out it could have been hammered.

So booking it in with the dealer to have it stripped down and changed if needed. Most likely will I’ll kick up a fuss so they do.

Q: Are there any safety concerns associated with high school football? A: Yes, there are safety concerns associated with high school football, particularly related to the risk of injuries, including concussions. To address these concerns, many high schools have implemented safety measures such as improved helmet technology, stricter tackling rules, and concussion protocols to protect players. high school football
