I’m currently running 205/45 R17 on my DSport but am wanting to go for a wider tyre with a bigger sidewall, Just interested to find out what other people are running and how wide I can go before my full lock is affected

    Kind Regards

    Dave

Tyre-wise you can get 215s on the stock wheels easy peasy. May as well get aftermarket wheels as mentioned above and get 7.5-8 inch width rather than the stock 7"

        I got the same question.

So I am now lowered 35mm with h&r springs

I want to run 215/45/17 because there's like £22 quid difference (each) for the tyre I want

Would there be room for this? Looks like it tbh

        Cheers

Park on full lock. Get out and look at the arch. See if you can fit another 5mm in there without rubbing.

What's the stock tyre size for the dsport+? I'm running the same size as op, but they were already on when i got the car.

Michelin are suggesting 205, 40, 18? But these seem narrow. Any performance benefits going for skinnier tyre?

If you can see the photo I think there's room for a 215/45/17

                What do others think?

Well of course there's space when you're pointing forward. When you turn the wheels in all the way is when they'll rub.

Just a quick question.  I have ordered some new tyres for my DS3 DStyle
I have ordered 205/45 ZR17 but have just noted that the load rating is 84V,  will these be ok on my vehicle

a load rating of 84 would be 500kg per tyre so 2000kg. Figure the bare car is about 1200kg so the question is how many fat people you plan on driving around? You Sshould be just fine.
