  • Few electrical gremlins i would love some help with on my DS3R ..

Hi everyone got a few electrical gremlins on my DS3R that i am trying to sort out,

firstly i have the dreaded P0016 Camshaft discrepancy that has just started flagging up as permanent in Lexia, would that just require a new sensor or is it the timing chain on its way out?

secondly is that the BSI cannot communicate with the service module? does anyone know where this is located in the car so i can fault find the wiring.

Lastly I have open circuit on the bluetooth microphone, i went bought a used one from ebay but that is also saying open circuit? again does anyone know where the module is located from the microphone in the roof to the radio? going by the audio wiring diagram the is a module 84B4 portable multimedia unit is that part of the head unit or is it buried in the dash somewhere?

    Thanks in advance

Timing is off. Probably only the inlet cam that slipped. Did it run rough for the last 5k?

Also check fuel trims, they do tell a story.
Can't figure out what the service module is...
As for the microphone, it's plug and play. Two cables go into nomad (normal radio) or the radio itself (big lcd screen). It's a powered microphone which means there is power to the microphone, the board/circuit for this is in the microphone itself (roof).
