DS3 Shift Gear Knob / Gaitor Change

Hello,

Bought a genuine Sparco Shift Knob for my DS3, but am having trouble removing the Gaitor (leather bit) to remove the ball knob,

does anyone know how or have a video please?

You don’t need to remove the gaiter to remove the gear knob, just put it in 4th and pull (don’t punch yourself in the face).
