Losing Patience With My DS Now

Right well im normally so laid back i fall over, but this hesitation problem is starting to grate. Its also REALLY noisy when cold

Ive been taking it to my local dealer, which i used to work for (multifranchise, i was Vauxhall) and been in there 3 times for this hesitation - basically when you accelerate it faintly holds back a few times, then goes and im certain its slowed down. They fobbed me off each time, after road testing it for 0.2 of a mile and deciding theres no fault

Now im assuming they did this as they know me, and feel i wont kick up a fuss

So i booked it in at another dealer, and they guy was really enthusiastic saying yea the CT will take it home and give it a good run etc. So took it last night, and having to pay £9 a day to insure a C1 with no screenwash

Got an update today, and so far they cant find anything wrong or even experience the fault? Theyve just said the C1 is booked with you til friday (another £18 in insurance) and hopefully we'll find something

So, what do i do when they inevitably come back with 'no fault found' for the 4th time at 2 different dealers?

the ct took mine "home" and managed to clock up 150miles doing them at 31 mpg which means it was bein thrashed which didnt impress me atall. especially considerin i was paying for fuel for tht and the courtesy car i was using. my dealer kept telling me there wasnt a fault until i got intouch with CUK thn they started taking an indepth look. they must not like hard work :|

I'm sorry but you really need to wake up.... you paid for the fuel for them to thrash your car round for 150 miles to be told there's nothing wrong with it......you say they started to listen after you contacted CUK you should be refunded for the fuel in both cars.
And cant believe Faxo agreed to pay for insurance on a courtesy car

oh dont get me rong dealer paid for insurance on cortesy car and i got full tank of fuel out of them. they didnt get away with anything

If it's the thp engine could possibly be the filter blocked on the turbo hose...My teckie changed mine & now all is well....Hope you get it sorted Faxo as i know its a real pain in the arse !!!.

what from a turbo engine that doesnt work to one that does lol

You will never have trouble free motoring with the THP engine they are rubbish to put it kindly. I know people that have had new timing gear,new head,new turbo's, new ECU's some with complete new engines and they are still having trouble with the 207 GT's and GTI's that use the same engine. I got shut of my 207 GTI after 2 years and 12k on clock, the peugeot dealers are the same they kept saying there's nothing wrong with it and we've never heard of that issue ETC. They should scrape this engine and replace it with a re-designed one.

It's weird how the THP has so many issues, i've never heard of the Mini Cooper S having any issues and as far as im aware they are the same engines too
